Getting Started

Fur Infection LITE VR is HopeStar Studio’s free Roblox infection PvP—live title [UPD] Fur Infection LITE VR+, about 30 players per server, R6 avatars, with VR supported alongside keyboard and touch. You spawn as a Human in a Safe Zone, buy one-life shop weapons, loot Light or Heavy Vests in the facility, and either hold the line or get grabbed into colored goo and join the Infected.

This beginner guide is the day-one checklist. It is not Kiwi Games Furinfection and not Fur Infection Outbreak. Use the official play link only: Fur Infection LITE VR.

First sixty seconds

  1. Load in and do not sprint out naked. Look for the shop / vendor UI inside or beside the Safe Zone.
  2. Buy the cheapest melee that swings this life—a bat-tier tool beats fists when a morph rushes the door.
  3. Skim your binds on Controls. On HopeStar infection games, melee is often right-click, and sprint is often Ctrl, not Shift. Confirm in your build before you muscle-memory die.
  4. Step out with a plan: vest route first, hero duel second.
  5. If you are on a headset, recenter, test the laser on the shop, then leave. VR panic turns are free kills for grabbers.

What the round is actually about

Humans try to stay human: earn cash, upgrade the swing, wear armor, punish bad grabs. Infected try to grab survivors and finish the infection near goo / latex puddles so the morph team snowballs. Dying as a Human usually means you come back weaker (shop gear is one-life). Dying as Infected is less about “loadout loss” and more about wasted map pressure.

Read the role pages when you finish this checklist:

Safe Zone rules of thumb

The Safe Zone is your reset brain. Shop here. Redeem hypothetical codes here (none confirmed—see Codes Hub). Do not drag a grabbed Human through the Safe Zone portal as Infected; you waste the grab and teach the lobby bad habits. As a Human, do not camp the portal forever—learn one exterior loop so you are not farmed the instant you peek.

Shopping without going broke

Cash comes from surviving fights and looting the map. Prioritize in this order on life one:

  1. Any reliable melee
  2. Light Vest if it sits on your path (world pickup)
  3. Better reach / heavier melee once you have survived a scrap
  4. Heavy Vest only when the path is clear—vest rooms beside goo are bait

Deep stats and routing notes live on Weapons and Armor. Healing, if present in your patch, comes after a swing and a vest—not before.

World pickups vs shop tools

Shop tools vanish when you die. That is intentional pressure. Vests are world pickups: Light for early bulk, Heavy for committed pushes. If two Humans race the same Heavy shelf, the loser should rotate to a side room instead of fist-fighting under goo lights.

Meeting your first Infected

Morphs want your back. Keep your camera sweeping corners. When you swing, watch the cooldown bar—spam clicking freezes your facing and lets a grab connect. One clean hit, step, reset. If someone is already on your spine, mash movement toward teammates or a chokepoint; do not reverse into the puddle they came from.

When you become Infected

You will get grabbed eventually. After the transform:

  1. Learn Grab ready + rear approach on How to Play as Infected.
  2. Drag toward goo that matches a form you understand—see Mutations.
  3. Do not honor-duel a Heavy Vest Human in a wide hall; wait for a teammate or a rear angle.

Colored liquids are the Infected “shop.” Touching the wrong puddle in a watched room is how you donate a free kill.

VR beginners

The VR+ tag means headset play is first-class, not a gimmick:

  • Practice shop clicks and vest prompts in Safe Zone before a fight.
  • Keep swings deliberate; VR tracking plus cooldown spam is how grabs eat you.
  • If comfort settings feel off, lower locomotion intensity in Roblox VR options, then rejoin.
  • Flat friends can still queue with you—mechanics are shared; only the input layer changes.

Community and codes

Join HopeStar Discord and group 610973138 for patch notes. No confirmed codes as of September 2026—ignore Outbreak/Kiwi lists. When a gift appears, use How to Redeem Codes.

First-session goals (pick three)

  • Leave spawn with a shop melee before any fist fight
  • Pick up one Light Vest without stepping in goo
  • Land or survive one cooldown-disciplined melee trade
  • As Infected, land one rear grab (even if the drag fails)
  • Identify two goo colors from Mutations

Hit three goals and you already play above average lobby randomness.
